Chris is responsible for developing the product and technology platform that will enable SpendWell to transform health care.

Prior to joining SpendWell, Chris worked at Deloitte Consulting, the Hawaii Medical Service Association (the state’s Blue Cross Blue Shield plan), and AT&T.

MBA, University of Oregon

Andrea Tomlin Director, Operations

Andrea profile

“Health care is the one thing that we agree to purchase without knowing the price. It's time for that to change, and I'm excited to be a part of the effort to bring that change to life.”

Present:

Andrea leads SpendWell's operations group and is responsible for our day-to-day operations including concierge center support, customer and provider implementations, billing and vendor management, quality assurance and business continuity.

Past:

Prior to joining SpendWell, Andrea worked across Portland, the US and the world as a process and strategy consultant.

Education:

Bachelor of Arts in communication, University of Colorado, Boulder

Little-known facts:

  • Trained from the age of five as a classical pianist
  • Previously worked as a ski instructor in Colorado
  • Loves to follow ice hockey and all Boston sports (go Red Sox!)

Present:

Ethan helps SpendWell reach its business objectives by advising on legal issues related to its products, market approach, governance and corporate development transactions.

Past:

Before joining Cambia in 2013, Ethan spent six years as an attorney at Stoel Rives in Portland, Oregon, where he represented both public and private companies in various corporate matters and transactions. Ethan's legal counsel is also shaped by his experience on Deutsche Bank's corporate development team in New York before attending law school.

Juris Doctor, cum laude, Lewis & Clark Law School

Bachelor of Arts in urban studies, Hobart College

Little-known facts:

  • Ethan was the managing editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review
  • When Ethan isn't working or spending time with his wife and two young boys (Ford, age 3, and Palmer, age 1), he's usually fly fishing for steelhead on a local river
  • Ethan grew up in Colorado and remains a passionate Broncos fan
